Epilepsy Innovation Summit
Sponsored by the Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology and the Neurotechnology Industry Organization, and supported by an unrestricted educational grant from the Epilepsy Therapy Project, the Epilepsy Innovation Summit was held May 7, 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts. It brought together clinicians, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and the investment community. Speakers showcased emerging and synergistic technologies under development for 1) pre-surgical evaluation, 2) seizure prediction and detection, and 3) intracranial and extracranial treatment systems.
Eilat IX
Scheduled for June 15 - 19, 2008, this conference program provided an in-depth progress report on new antiepileptic drugs in different stages of development, as well as to present new findings on second-generation treatments. The Epilepsy Therapy Project is proud to have been a co-sponsor of this conference with The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Read more.

Continuing the tradition of the Antiepileptic Drug Conferences (AED I-IX) but with a focus on drug development strategies, investing and business development opportunities, this invitation-only, in-depth, one-day forum on March 13th, 2008, provided an opportunity for emerging CNS companies and scientific entrepreneurs to present their strategies, product candidates and development programs to potential venture capital, private equity, pharma and biotech investors and partners. Antiepileptic Drug Trials IX
In 2007 as many antiepileptic drugs are in the pipeline as at any time in the past. With nine new AEDs already approved, there is a unique opportunity to learn from the past as we move into the future. The AED IX symposium brings together representatives from academia, industry, the NIH, and the FDA to review what has been learned and to discuss strategies to enhance AED development.
